"I met with Lindsay and Shasheen in August of 2009 because I felt stuck! At that time in my life I was out of work and taking a business class on becoming an entrepreneur and opening my own business moxie connections. Now I had always been, up until this point, a "w-2 girl" as I called myself. And never imagined in a million years I could become an entrepreneur. My company was officially open; I had all the business licenses, an office, a list of potential clients & candidates to call on.... I was set. And there
I was just paralyzed not knowing what to do next. I was stuck! I knew I was ready to get going, but I just couldn't. I had fears of not being able to do it and was therefore procrastinating.

Through the process, Lindsay shared with me that I might have a possible shadow that was being bigger than I was. The shadow of Perfection, Doubt and
I'm not worthy. I knew that I wanted to do something where I was making a difference and not just being the average/typical recruiter. I wanted to capitalize on my quality relationships with others and really help others connect. Lindsay and Shasheen walked me through a list of here's what makes me best... coupled with the ROI for my potential clients. And I came to
realize (of course they already saw it in me) that I CAN DO THIS and people benefit from knowing me because I'm a connector who is passionate about helping people succeed at finding the right candidate and the right job!

They helped me see myself as a true SUPER HERO!!! And I truly do possess super hero qualities, which they helped me to point out. There were moments during this coaching that I felt very stuck and vulnerable, all the while I felt very at peace and safe with them. I realized I can ignore all the other things people think I should be as a recruiter and just go from my heart and it's truly turning out so much better that way!

They left me with a true sense of myself, in who I want to be in my career and in my life and her Superhero name is..... ICFDIG!!!!!!!! And she is in the spirit of being open to anything........ thanks to the wonderful
coaching for my PLAN BE!

When I first met Shasheen I was at a point in my life where I just wasn’t happy. I had been depressed for months but was trying to hide it from everyone. It was a struggle to get out of bed in the morning. I didn’t want to go anywhere or do anything. I felt like I was drying up inside. When I looked in the mirror I didn’t even recognize the woman looking back at me. I would say to myself, “Who are you?”

I had been married to my husband for 22 years. But I wasn’t satisfied in my marriage. The passion and spark were gone. We were basically living parallel lives where he focused on business and the finances and I focused on the home and raising our three sons. I had devoted my life to my sons and family and put my own dreams on hold for so long I didn’t even know who I was or what I wanted anymore. I was afraid and doubted my ability to get out in the business world and be successful. I had come to a point of total resignation. I couldn’t see that it was possible for my life to be anything other than the way it was. But I continued to put on a façade that my life was fine.

To anyone looking at me they would think I had a great life. I have lived in beautiful homes. I drive nice cars. I take amazing vacations. I’ve always had the necessities of life and many extras. I have 3 awesome, talented, well-respected sons who treat me like a princess. So why at 43 years old did I find myself so unhappy?

Then I met Shasheen. And my life changed and I will never be the same!

Shasheen saw through my façade. Within minutes of meeting him he said things to me about myself that I thought I had so carefully hidden from the world. He pointed out things about my personality that weren’t working that I wasn’t even aware of. But when he said them I instantly knew he was right.

Shasheen is skilled at sensing the unspoken thoughts and feelings of others. He invited me to consider who I could become if I just gave up being the kind of person I thought I was. Up until that time I had never considered that I could actually choose to be anything other than who I was. I instantly knew deep inside that I wanted to be something different. I had previously thought I was shy and was resigned to playing small on the sidelines of life. When he suggested I could give that up and asked how I would be, I responded that I would be powerful! Immediately it was as if a door had opened to a part of life that I had previously thought I didn’t deserve to live.

Over the next six to seven months Shasheen coached me and helped me to understand that I was human and to stop making myself wrong. He helped me distinguish that the voice in my head is not who I am. He encouraged me to get out in the world and do great things. He taught me that failure is an opportunity to celebrate. When there were times I felt overwhelmed he suggested books to read or things to do to overcome those feelings. He helped me get beyond my self-defeating behavior and achieve amazing things I would have never done before.

In just the few short months since Shasheen has been coaching me my life has totally transformed! I have gotten my real estate license. Which was something I never thought I could or would do. I now work in real estate development with my husband. I have had opportunities to teach and speak to groups of people (anywhere from 40 – 400 people). I have discovered I love public speaking. I have seen huge improvements in all my relationships. I have more open and honest communication with my husband. My marriage is better than it has ever been. I am more present when I am with my children and love them for who they are. I have given up a lot of the need for control in my life. I have closer and more loving relationships with my extended family. I went to my high school reunion and connected with people I haven’t seen for 25 years. I’ve learned to rock climb. I’ve traveled on my own and enjoyed every minute of just being with myself.

I have more joy in every aspect of my life. I feel more alive! I am more confident and take more pride in how I look. I have more clarity in my purpose and direction in life. I have opportunities daily to uplift and inspire others. I never thought this kind of life was possible for me.

Shasheen has been incredibly inspiring in my life. He knows what to say and how to say it. He is insightful, perceptive and honest. When I would get off the phone with him I was energized and felt like I could take on the world. Simply said, I love my life!!!! I will forever be grateful to Shasheen who has helped me in this amazing transformation.
